If I would ask:   “Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?” I think many of you will answer "yes". But have you ever cried yourself awake? And I am not talking about crying yourself awake after a nightmare because when you cry yourself awake after a nightmare, the moment you become aware of your surroundings it’s easy to convince yourself it was only a nightmare and take control over your emotions. I’m talking about crying yourself awake when you are under so much stress or emotional pain that your body and your soul just can’t deal with it and your tears serve as an outlet to just get some kind of relieve. Not so long ago, I was watching a reality show on television and it was during an interview between the presenter and a man, when he said something very profound: He said:  “There is nothing a man is more afraid of in life, than a woman who once broke his heart”. Suddenly the woman who once broke his heart was standing in front of him giving him another opportunity to love her again, but he had to make a decision: Is he going to take the risk of opening his heart again and make use of the opportunity to love her again? Or is he going to let the opportunity slip through his fingers because he just didn’t want to take the risk of getting his heart broken again. It doesn’t matter what he chose, because whatever the choice, choice always involves risk. He might never get this opportunity again.
