Taking the Risk - Laetitia Zeeman
Not so long ago, I was watching a
reality show on television and it was during an interview between the presenter
and a man, when he said something very profound:
He said: “There is nothing a man is more afraid of in
life, than a woman who once broke his heart”.
Suddenly the woman who once broke
his heart was standing in front of him giving him another opportunity to love
her again, but he had to make a decision:
Is he going to take the risk of
opening his heart again and make use of the opportunity to love her again?
Or is he going to let the
opportunity slip through his fingers because he just didn’t want to take the
risk of getting his heart broken again.
It doesn’t matter what he chose,
because whatever the choice, choice always involves risk.
He might never get this
opportunity again.
Even stepping out of your house
in the morning is taking a huge risk.
But we all know, by staying at
home, we will never accomplish anything.
Sooner or later, you will have to
leave your house. Ha-ha!
Imagine never taking the risk of
taking your first step as a baby.
Imagine never taking the risk of
getting onto a bicycle, learning how to cycle.
Imagine allowing fear of water to
prevent you from swimming.
Imagine not taking the risk and
learning how to drive a car.
To me, on a personal level,
opening my heart to love again was taking a HUUUGE risk.
But I thank God every single day,
for taking the risk, for opening my heart again, for the amazing Godly man in
my life.
Getting into my car during lock
down in June 2020, travelling with a permit, from Mossel Bay to Pretoria, for
14 hours, alone to go to my youngest son’s wedding meant taking a huge risk.
Life is all about taking risks:
David took a risk, facing Goliath,
and the outcome of taking that risk, had an influence on history.
Esther took a risk, appearing
before the king without being summoned, and saved a nation.
Moses took a risk, leading the
Israelites through a desert, and saved them from slavery.
There are so many examples in the
word of God of people taking risks with great outcomes.
I want to encourage you with this
message today:
Maybe you have to take a risk
today:
Maybe you have the opportunity to
love again.
Maybe you have to make a decision
for your business today, and there is a risk losing everything, but what if
taking a risk today, change history, not only for your family, but for a
nation, because you never know.
The good news is: The moment Jesus died on the cross, the veil
in the temple tore in two and because of what happened at the cross; we have
free access into the Kingdom of God.
There once was a man named John
who was an exile on the island of Patmos.
He was in the spirit realm.
He writes in Revelation 4:2 in
the Passion Translation: “Instantly I
was taken into the spirit realm, and behold – I saw a heavenly throne set in
place and someone seated upon it”.
We read about Jesus in Isaiah
11:1-2 "There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a branch
shall grow out of his roots." The
Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the
Lord.”
In Revelation 1 and 4 we also
read about the 7 spirits of God that is before the throne of God.
You have free excess to the
heavenly realm and the 7 spirits of God.
Whatever you need, is already
available to you today.
Do you need wisdom,
understanding, counsel, might, knowledge?
It’s available. Because of Christ
in you, you can engage into the heavenly realm and draw from wisdom,
understanding, counsel, knowledge, or whatever you need today. Everything you need is already inside you.
And after engaging, you will know
if taking that risk, is worth it.
I want to encourage you to
exchange what you have always known for what you’ve always wanted.
You can’t afford to keep the life
of your dreams waiting.
I want to greet you in Hebrew
today with: “Ba’ruch Ha Shem!
Meaning:
Praise the Lord! It includes:
no matter what the reality is, Yahweh is blessing me, keeping me,
sustaining me, feeding me, strengthening me, guiding me ….
Have a beautiful blessed day.

Thanks for sending me this, the thing with me is, I don't think I would be able to ever trust him again......
