New Years Message 2023 - Laetitia van Schalkwyk

I bless you with a Christ centred 2023. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever.” The Greek word for the “same” emphatically states that Jesus Christ is unchangeable! May you remember, that when God said: “I AM,” He didn’t say “I WAS” or “I will be,” because God is the same yesterday, today and forever. His nature will never change. He will always be good. Today is a good opportunity to shed that past because when you are living in the past, it causes depression and when you live in the future, it creates fear. May you stay in the “I AM,” (present tense), live in today and simply wallow in Him – like the yellow in the egg yolk. May you experience deeper dimensions of God inside you, and may you have heavenly encounters. How do you recognize a follower of Christ? Jesus said in John 13:35: “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” The way we love demonstrates who we are. Co...

According to the Oxford Dictionary, the definition of reconciliation is: “The restoration of friendly relations”. “Reconciliation is the process of two people or groups in a conflict agreeing to make amends or come to a truce.” The Greek word translated “reconciliation” literally means to “change completely” . In Colossians 1:20-22, the Bible states that sinners are alienated from God and enemies in their minds by wicked works, yet God has provided reconciliation through Christ’s death. To accomplish reconciliation, you need five C’s: ·          Conviction ·          Confession ·          Contrition ·          Compensation and ·          Correction. What does Jesus say about reconciliation? Matthew 5:23-26 TPT “So then, if you are presenting a gift before th...

Good day, It is so good to share my Christmas message with you; From me to you.  First, I want to thank you for being on this journey with me, seeing and experiencing what Yahweh is unfolding within us. Christmas is not about celebrating and receiving presents. But!!! It is all about experiencing the Presence of Yahweh. It is a day to set aside and remembering the good things that God has done for us. As a believer it is great to remember and change the culture to something that is completely different from what the world is portraying. It is amazing how Christ came to do what He did, to come and give us a LIFE here on earth that is able to change this reality forever. I love what St. Leo the Great (c400-461) wrote: “Dearly beloved, today our Saviour is born; let us rejoice. Sadness should have no place on the birthday of life. The fear of death has been swallowed up; life brings us joy with the promise of eternal happiness. No one is shut out from this joy; all share th...
