The Story of my life

I was born in Pretoria and grew up in the Dutch Reformed Church.  I committed my life to God during an alter call at Hatfield Christian church in 1982.  I am a qualified beauty therapist and had my own beauty salon when in 2003 I received a calling to ministry.  This was such a clear voice that there was not even a moment of doubt in my heart that this was a calling from God and I immediately answered the call.  I was awakened by an audible voice, three times during the night:  “Tend my sheep” (John 21:15-17).

 

God spoke to me to receive the water baptism.  The same night I was baptized with water I was also filled with the Holy Spirit and started speaking/praying in tongues.  One week later my husband of 17 years left.  I left the Dutch Reformed Church – always knowing/believing there has to be more.

Suddenly I was a single mother for 8 and 10 year old boys.  In 2010 I received an invitation to visit Spirit Word Ministries and to me, this was a life changing experience.  Women’s retreats (camps) and Women’s breakfasts/meetings were born out of a passion which God planted in my heart for broken hearted women.

 

After being single again for 13 years, February 2015, I was on honeymoon at Gouritz River (Western Cape, South Africa) – (without the bridegroom, because the wedding never happened), when I felt drawn to Mossel Bay.  I said to God:  “Pain without purpose is like pregnancy without birth.  Something good needs to come out of this pain”.  I had a desire to start a new life somewhere else.

In August 2015 I got involved in prison ministry and supported a prison pastor for 10 months.

 

In 2016 God gave me the desire of my heart and opened doors, making it possible for me to move to Reebok, Mossel Bay (Western Cape, South Africa) where I am currently staying and completed a course in Life Coaching.

 

In 2017 I was involved in a church plant in the South Coast, KZN, South Africa for 5 months and back in Reebok, Mossel Bay since January 2018.

My Passion and Life Purpose

As a qualified Life Coach Practitioner, my vision is to help people become what they are capable of being by changing the way how they think about themselves.  My aim is to help others appreciate their strengths, overcome challenges and live to their full potential.  We were all created to be unique and inside each one of us, we have the ability to create our own reality through our thoughts, intensions, beliefs and actions.

Just imagine … someone listening to you and where the total focus is only on you.

 Imagine … someone, not only believing in your dreams, but also help and motivate you to accomplish them. 

Imagine … someone who is totally committed to you and encourages you to press on forwards, towards your dreams, goals and to reach your full potential.

Imagine … someone listening to you, without judging you.  

Imagine … someone listening to you, not give you advice, or act as an expert, but work with you and motivate you to reach your own solutions to your challenges.

 

Imagine … someone, not taking you back to your past, but helping you to create your own reality through your thought-life.

 Imagine … someone helping you to overcome your fears, anxieties or bad habits.

Imagine … someone who you talk to once a week, whether you had a week of great success or made a mess, but still motivate you and believe in you.

    

I also do counselling. I believe that all of us are called.  I am teaching, ministering the Word of God, on invitation, as a public speaker, doing workshops, women’s groups, but what also energize me, is to sit with the broken, one-on-one, build relationship and lead them back to their identity in Christ.

I want to know God more and grow into a deeper relationship with Him. My passion and life purpose is also to set people free from religion and teach people how to have a relationship with God.  

Through “activations”, I teach/lead people, how to engage into a realm where they can have a personal encounter with God.  I am a son of God.  I only do what I see my Father doing.  (John 5:19).

 I do not motivate, but inspire.  I believe we are spiritual beings, we have souls and bodies.  I inspire people to make healthy choices concerning their souls and bodies.  We need our bodies to bring heaven to earth and build God’s Kingdom on earth. (Matt 6:6 & John 17).

 

In 2019 God first showed me in a dream and then later gave me a vision and a blue print; “Glory Realm Healing Room” is a room where I minister to women to restore those that are broken back to wholeness.
