I choose You - Laetitia Zeeman




I was standing on a mountain top, looking back at my life, the road I have traveled and He was standing with me.

I turned to Him, and said:  “If I ever have to choose again, I will choose You”.

If I have to choose between You and saving my marriage, 15 years ago, I would choose You.

If I have to choose between You and all the riches in this world, I would choose You.

If I have to choose between You and fame, I would choose You.

If I have to choose between You and building my own kingdom, I would choose You.

If I have to choose between You and being married, I would choose You.

I will choose You over and over and over again.  I choose You.

There is just nothing in this world that compare to You.

You are in every breath that I take.

You are no longer on my mind, You became my mind.

You are in my blood, pumping through my veins. 

You are in every single cell in my body.
 
You are my DNA.

Nothing compares to knowing You, face-to-face.
 
Not only do I see You, but I also see through Your eyes. 

Intimacy with You, brought me to a place, where I am absolutely consumed by You and Your love in this place, this place inside me.

In You I have found peace; Perfect Peace.

In You I have found love;  Unconditional Love.

In You I have found wholeness; You complete me.

You don’t complete my sentences, because You are my every sentence.

You don’t ignite a fire in me;  You are the fire inside me.

You don’t dance with me;  You are my dance.

I am in You and You are in me.  In You I live, and move and have my being”.

I will choose you ... over and over and over again.  I choose You. 


“There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God, where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises”.  (Psalm 25:14 The Passion Translation).

“God’s glory is all around me! His wrap-around presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength”.  (Psalm 62:7  The Passion Translation).

  HER VERSION written by Laetitia Zeeman The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Stephanus, is “RESPECT”. I met Stephanus in 1985.  I was the new kid in school and Stephanus was on the student council. After five years, I decided to break the silence and tell the story behind the story; how God turned my ashes into beauty.  A Terrible Mistake In 2014, after being single again for almost 8 years, I decided to write an article on “Dating sites”.  I started my own investigation or research.  Call it whatever you want, but looking back now, honestly, I think I was fooling myself.   But anyway, my investigation or research lasted only for two weeks and I can honestly say:  A dating site will never see me again.  I know some people who actually met on dating sites who are very happily married today but the experience made me realize just how naive I was.  A dating site will never see me again.  It was a mistake I will regret the rest of my life.
