Get a Vision - Laetitia Zeeman
Every now and then I will engage
God, asking Him to show me something on my future scroll. When having a glimpse of your future, not only
will it encourage you, but it will also give you the assurance that you are
still busy doing things God planned for you, destined for you, because remember, you were created for a
purpose.
One night early in 2018, before
falling asleep I asked God:
“Lord, please just give me a
glimpse of my future scroll, showing me that I am still on the right
track. Please give me vision”.
That night I had a dream. In my dream I was in the South Coast, KZN/South Africa. I
was surrounded by women.
Months later, a door opened to
minister at a women’s conference in the South Coast. It was then when God
reminded me about the dream.
The day I left, I had ninety five
rand in my bank account. I had to fly
from George Airport to O.R. Thambo International airport in Johannesburg and
take another flight from O.R. Thambo in Johannesburg to Durban, Kwazulu
Natal. The moment I arrived in Johannesburg,
money started flowing into my account. I
only had to be obedient. God provided.
At the airport I had to wait a
few hours for a mini coach to take me to Shelly Beach where I was staying with
the woman who invited me to minister. I
was exhausted. I was already travelling
for twelve hours that day after leaving my home the same morning. I was sitting in a coffee shop, waiting for
the meal I ordered.
I closed my eyes and
while engaging, saw myself stepping through the veil. I walked to the tree of life and pushed my
face right into the tree of life and started drinking sap from the tree. I opened my eyes again when the waiter talked
to me and in an instant I felt revived again.
I was not tired anymore. I had
strength and energy again.
“But He said to them, ‘I have
food to eat of which you do not know”.
John 4:32
I was the only passenger on the
mini coach that day. The driver was a
friendly good mannered man. Because I
was the only passenger, I got in at the front, sitting next to him.
He asked me where I’m from and what the
reason for my visit to the South Coast was.
I told him, I was invited to minister at a women’s conference. He looked at me, smiled and said: “You? Are you serious?” As if I'm not capable. I found it very amusing.
He then asked: “So in what kind of religion are you because
you are most definitely not a Christian”.
I was curious. “So what make you
think that I am not a Christian?”
He
smiled and answered: “Well, first of
all. The moment I saw you and made eye
contact with you, you smiled and I felt loved.
You are not judgemental.
Christians are very judgemental.
They are actually very hard and judgemental not only towards others,
from other religions, but also towards each other”.
He explained to me that he was
actually not allowed to talk religion or politics on the mini coach but since
we were the only two people in the mini coach we could actually talk about
whatever we want to. He also told me
that he was an Atheist.
He asked me about my relationship status and
was completely blown away by the fact that I am single. I was actually married for 17 years, but
that’s 14 years ago.
He said: “You are such a beautiful, kind, loving
person. Don’t tell me there isn’t just
one guy out there who will do just anything to love you”. He made me laugh. Because his words blessed me he made me feel
loved as well.
He continued: “If you ever get married again, please, just
don’t marry a Christian. They are the
worst husbands you can ever get. They
use, abuse and cheat on their wives.
He then asked me: “Will you ever get married to someone
believing different than you do?”
I answered: “No I won’t, because marriage is already a
challenge. The moment you get married to
someone in another religion it only put more pressure on the relationship”.
He then asked: “So in what kind of a religion are you?”
I answered: “I am not in any kind of religion. I am in a relationship. I am son of God. I am enlightened by the Holy Spirit. I only do what I see my Father doing. I am not from earth but from another
Kingdom. I believe that I am only on
earth to reveal Christ. I am actually
here to bring heaven to earth”.
He was amused. He looked at me and said: “You do realize that you are in some serious
need of Psychiatric help?”
I can’t remember when the last
time was that I had such a good laugh.
He started talking about his
wife. I was amazed. Never did I hear a man talking like that
about his wife. He just carried on about
how amazing and beautiful she is. They
never buy anything for themselves.
Whenever they buy something, they buy for each other. Neither of them is in need of anything
because they are invested in each other.
He knows his wife so well that whenever he sees her in need of
something, he will buy it. They take
care of each other. She does the
same. Both of them earn an income.
The way he talked about marriage made me
actually consider marriage again and he was not even a Christian.
After our conversation, he made
me feel like standing on a mountain top and scream:
“Christians! “Wake up!!!
This is how the world sees you!!!”
He invited me to stay with him
and his wife whenever I’m in the area again for ministry purposes.
By sharing this I want to
challenge all men today.
Proverbs 29:18 KJV says:
“Where there is no vision, the
people perish ……”
The Hebrew word paw-rah’ means “to perish”. Paw-rah’ was the
word used in a biblical proverb where a woman’s hair was let flow out of its
covering (hairband). Unconstrained in the wind her hair is directionless and
blown in all directions.
I want to ask you as a man today: “Do you still have a vision? Very often men have amazing work related
visions but do you have a vision for your marriage?
Or are you just directionless and it’s almost
as if everything concerning your marriage is just blowing in all directions
completely out of control?
Jeremiah 29:11 in the NKJV says:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the
Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your
own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your
paths”.
1 Chronicles 16:11 NKJV
“Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”
Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak,
And it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.”
Men! I challenge you
to get a vision! Because the man is the
starter, the visionary.
The woman is the finisher.
Give a woman a vision and she will run with it!
The man carries the vision and the only way to get a vision,
is to get your head in the clouds.
The moment a man comes with a vision, it energizes the
woman. It’s how God created us.
Give a woman food and she will create a meal,
Give a woman a house and she will create a home,
Give a woman your seed and she will give you a baby,
But "Without vision, My people perish".
Too many people treat marriage as a destination.
Marriage is not a destination but a beautiful
start and can only be a blessing when you have vision.
But get you heads in the clouds, engage God, seek Him, ask
Him to give you His vision for your marriage.
Heaven is open! The veil has been
torn! Enter in! Get your head in the
clouds, walk to the Tree of Life and stick your head into Him and drink from
the delicious juicy sap of The Holy Spirit and write the vision down.
The only way to have or bring heaven to earth
for your marriage is to step into heaven
and bring whatever you receive there … down to earth …. And then manifest heaven on
earth.
